ROMIOROMEN-KONAYUKI
Lyric and translation

konayuki, mau kisetsu wa
(powdered-snow, within the revolving seasons)
itsumo surechigai

(we always miss each other )
hitogomi ni magiretemo

(although we got separated within the crowd,)
onaji sora miteru no ni

(we look into the same sky)
kaze ni fukarete
(blown in the wind,)
nita you ni kogoeru no ni
(we feel the same chills)

boku wa kimi no subete nado

(everything about you,)
shitte wa inai darou

(guess I don’t really know)
soredemo ichiokunin kara

(even so, from one hundred million)
kimi wo mitsuketa yo
(I still found you )

konkyo wa nai kedo

(although i’m not really sure,)
honki de omotterun da
(i’m seriously thinking about it)

sasai na iiai mo nakute wararai, wararai

(if slight quarrels may lose our laughters)
onaji jikan wo ikite nado ikenai

(then we must not live in the same moment of time)
sunao ni narenai nara

(if we can’t be honest to each other )
yorokobi mo kanashimi mo munashii dake...
(happiness and sadness are just empty)

konayuki nee kokoro made shiroku somerareta nara

(powdered-snow, until our hearts become white-dyed)
futari no kodoku wo wake au koto ga dekita no kai
(let us meet so that we can share our loneliness)

boku wa kimi no kokoro ni, mimi wo oshiatete

(i want to put my ears into your heart)
sono koe no suru hou e sutto fukaku made

(to hear the voice that gently leads into the depth)
orite yukitai, soko de mou ichido aou
(i want to go descend, and let us meet once again there)

wakariaitai nante morarai, morarai

(although I say that I want to understand,)
uwabe wo nadete ita no wa boku no hou

(but I can only stroke the surface of my words)
kimi no kajikanda te mo

(even your hands that have become cold,)
nigirishimeru koto dake de tsunagatteta no ni
(only by holding them tightly, we were connected)

konayuki nee eien wo mae ni amari ni moroku

(powdered-snow, even too fragile before the eternity)
zaratsuku ASUFARUTO no ue shimi ni natte yuku yo
(fell and became stain upon the rough asphalt)

konayuki nee toki ni tayorinaku kokoro wa yureru

(powdered-snow, in such time unreliable, shaking my heart)
soredemo boku wa kimi no koto mamoritsudzuketai…
(even so, I want to keep on protecting you…)

konayuki nee kokoro made shiroku somerareta nara

(powdered-snow, until our hearts become white-dyed)
futari no kodoku wo tsutsume sora ni kaesu kara…
(wrap up our loneliness, return it to the sky…)

Samsung and Apple puliing ahead in smartphone race

Samsung and Apple pulled ahead in the global smartphone race last quarter, according to forecasts by analysts in a Reuters poll, while Nokia and others are expected to have fallen further behind.Overall shipments of handsets are expected to have risen in the fourth quarter, with most of that growth dominated by Samsung. Analysts forecast the South Korean company shipped 61 million smart devices, up 71 percent from a year earlier.Samsung forecast earlier this month that it expected to earn a quarterly profit of $8.3 billion on strong sales of its Galaxy handsets as well as solid demand for flat screens used in mobile devices. Samsung's full results are due by Jan 25.While some are wary that Samsung's momentum may slow in coming quarters owing to market saturation, it is still expected to outpace Apple as sales of the new iPhone 5 appear slightly weaker than originally forecast.Apple is forecast to have shipped 46 million iPhones in the quarter, up 25 percent from a year earlier, according to the poll.Shares in Apple dipped below $500 earlier this week for the first time in almost a year after reports it was slashing orders for screens and other components as intensifying competition eroded demand for the new iPhone. The poll showed analysts expect Apple's full-year shipments to grow to 167 million this year from 134 million in 2012, while Samsung's shipments are expected to grow to 283 million smartphones in 2013 compared to 210 million in 2012.

Share-story 2 : An engineering mindset

"The most important thing is to keep the most important thing the most important thing"
Donald P

And so do we have to be proud to be an engineer?..yeah..of course then..the reason most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them, learn about them, or even seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them." Alright, stopped this nonsense . Of course because I am not a professor

Should I say to be success in engineering we should study 24 hours?
Hurmm,maybe yes and no.
How about lazy person like me?
Naahh...no need to study..
Logical thinking isn't it .
Well, because in application of engineering maths here I got this :

Well, cut the crap already . Engineering give more benefits to us in term of technological innovation , problem solving and solution finding.Challenging curriculum in university yet demands great deal of value, dedication and concentration

What I can say as student is :

Real engineering -----------------> repair their own electronic devices
Real engineering -----------------> Knew how to be punctual in time
Real engineering -----------------> High in discipline and problem solving skills
Real engineering -----------------> Have non-technical vocab at least 800 words
Real engineering -----------------> Never afraid of inventing new technology
Real engineering -----------------> Knows how to think out of the box

and

Real engineering --(like me)-----> Seriously doubt if you have all of above aspects

*Final message to all future engineer : Live and die as engineer !!

Ko-q project : Child Abuse

Child maltreatment, sometimes referred to as child abuse and neglect, includes all forms of physical and emotional ill-treatment, sexual abuse, neglect, and exploitation that results in actual or potential harm to the child’s health, development or dignity.
Child abuse is more than bruises and broken bones. While physical abuse might be the most visible, other types of abuse, such as emotional abuse and neglect, also leave deep, lasting scars. The earlier abused children get help, the greater chance they have to heal and break the cycle—rather than perpetuating it. By learning about common signs of abuse and what you can do to intervene, you can make a huge difference in a child’s life.Child abuse includes the following conditions:
  • Physical abuse
  • Child neglection
  • Child sexual abuse
  • Emotional neglect and abuse
Although some cases of child abuse are obvious, many are not. Early recognition of child abuse tendencies and intervention at the point of recognition is the only way to avoid the liability of criminal prosecution.

If you think you are acting in an abusive way or are having a difficult time with your children or yourself as a parent, you may have identified a tendency to be abusive. These tendencies can include the following:
·         Excessive and loud verbal confrontation
·         Excessive corporal punishment
·         Sexual feelings or excessive feelings of anger about children

Effect of child abuse :
·         Lack of trust and relationship difficulties.  Abuse by a primary caregiver damages the most fundamental relationship as a child that you will safely, reliably get your physical and emotional needs met by the person who is responsible for your care. Without this base, it is very difficult to learn to trust people or know who is trustworthy. This can lead to difficulty maintaining relationships due to fear of being controlled or abused
·         Trouble regulating emotions. Abused children cannot express emotions safely. As a result, the emotions get stuffed down, coming out in unexpected ways. Adult survivors of child abuse can struggle with unexplained anxiety, depression, or anger. They may turn to alcohol or drugs to numb out the painful feelings.

Ways to Help Prevent Child Abuse :

1.Be a nurturing parent.
Children need to know that they are special, loved and capable of following their dreams.
2.Help a friend, neighbor or relative.
Being a parent isn’t easy. Offer a helping hand take care of the children, so the
parent(s) can rest or spend time together.
3.Help yourself.
When the big and little problems of your everyday life pile up to the point you feel
overwhelmed and out of control – take time out. Don’t take it out on your kid.
4.Get involved.
Ask your community leaders, clergy, library and schools to develop services to meet the needs of healthy children and families.
5.Help to develop parenting resources at your local library.
6.Promote programs in school.
Teaching children, parents and teachers prevention strategies can help to keep children safe.

Conclusion :
With the right kind of social support, including therapy, love, and environmental stimulation children are able to cope with, and sometimes overcome childhood traumas, make multiple attachments, and develop socially, building sustainable relationship.

The verdict is in on that sea monster video: It's a jellyfish

Marine biologists say the spooky "Cascade Creature" seen drifting through the deep sea in a viral video isn't a whale placenta, a parachute, a plastic bag or an alien visitor: It's a type of jellyfish known as a Deepstaria enigmatica.
The video, which was apparently captured by a remotely operated vehicle near an underwater drilling site, caused a bit of a stir over the past couple of weeks among weird-science fans. Now it looks as if the truth is out there, thanks to assessments from experts such as Steven Haddock at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and Craig McClain at the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center."This bag-like jelly is not that rare, but is large, so rarely seen intact," Haddock and his colleagues write on the JellyWatch Facebook page. "In the video, the swirling from the sub makes the medusa appear to undulate, and it even turns inside-out." They provide a helpful picture of a more typical specimen.McClain is even more helpful in his posting at Deep Sea News. He provides citations on previous sightings of the beast, including explanations for the jellyfish's weirdly collapsed shape. And he shows through photographs and drawings that the strange appendage and whitish lumps seen in the video are D. enigmatica's gonads.

Haier goes 3D . Amazing!

HAIER will ship its first 3D Smart TV here in July. The 46in LE46A700 will feature a full HD panel with passive 3D technology and built-in WiFi.The TV's Mega Contrast visual engine uses LED technology to produce blacker blacks and whiter whites for brighter, sharper yet more natural pictures. It can also play multimedia files such as photos, music, movies and texts directly from a USB drive. Supported formats include BMP, MP3, WAV, AVI, MPEG2 and H.264.If you have to move away from the TV while your favourite programme is playing, you can use the Time Shift recording function so you will not miss any scenes. The recording will be stored on a USB drive and can be viewed anytime. However, not all USB drives are compatible with the function. Some of the supported devices include Sandisk Extreme Contour, Kingston Data Traveler 410 and Samsung HM500JI 500GB hard disk. The HDTV also comes with applications for viewing and updating Picasa, Facebook and YouTube but requires a connection to a home network via its built-in WiFi.The LE46A700 is expected to cost in the range of RM3,500 to RM3,900.At the launch, Haier also unveiled a full HD LED TV, the 42in LE42K800.The slim model ships with noise reduction and energy saving technologies as well as a USB port to connect a thumbdrive for watching movies and more.Additionally, its Eye Guard technology uses automatic light sensing and backlight adjustment to prevent glare. The LE42K800 is expected to ship next month for a retail price of RM1,899.

Malaysia free of mad cow disease

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has given the assurance that Malaysia is free of mad cow disease and has never faced any case of the scourge for the last 10 years.Veterinary Services Department director-general Datuk Dr Abd Aziz Jamaluddin said all beef products in the market, whether from local sources or imported, were safe to eat."All cows which are brought in are quarantined for examination. So far, there has been no report of any cow suffering from the disease and the public need not worry," he said in a statement, here, Monday.Dr Abd Aziz also told the public not to worry about the made cow disease outbreak reported in the United States last month because it was an isolated case, which did not affect the food chain.Malaysia no longer imported beef from California or other high risk parts of the animal such as skull and vertebral column, he said.
Currently, Malaysia has not suspended the import of beef from the United States and has directed the department to take precautions when importing beef.Until last April, Malaysia imported 1.3 metric tonnes of beef from Nebraska, United States worth RM156,000 while 25.3 metric tonnes worth RM3.7mil were imported last year.Dr Abd Aziz said the department would not hesitate to suspend the import of cows from the United States if there was a high risk of infection to local livestock. The mad cow disease is a fatal disease and can spread from animal to humans.

Hey blog readers , Here i want to share a video that i was impressed with the film-maker although its not real as I thought especially when it was all acted by children.Ever watched the film 'Saw'?Most horrified film where men/women was brutally tortured, chained in helpless condition and need to complete a painful task before they was set free(mostly had achieved failure).if they failed , then they would be killed brutally in many sarcastic technique and devastating devices. This group of boys tried to re-acting like a film but it would not all 100% copied . Just making a 'trailer-like' video but i was impressed of their work. Here are the video the made that I want to share here :

Imagine if you are tied up and no one came to help you . That might be the most painful moment of you at that time with 30 seconds to survive (saw version). Here are those children photos , being tied up helplessly:

Samsung holds court with the Galaxy S III

AFTER months of speculation about the Galaxy S III smartphone, Samsung finally let the successor to the wildly popular Galaxy S II out the bag at a glitzy official launch event in London's Earls Court Exhibition Centre.Much of the rumours surrounding the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S3 have largely turned out to be true. The phone sports a 4.8in Super AMOLED HD screen (720 x 1,280-pixels, 306ppi), which is a step up over its predecessor that had a 4.3in screen.Despite the increase in screen size, the Galaxy S III is only slightly larger at 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6mm compared to 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm of the S II.Samsung said that is due to an ultra-slim bezel design that the S III employs. The weight is now up to 133g from 116g of the S II but it still feels very light in the hand and is comparable to the HTC One X, which has a slightly smaller screen.Other highlights include an Exynos 4 Quad 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a larger 2,100mAh battery, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a mind-boggling host of features to enhance smartphone usability."The Galaxy S III is designed to be both effortlessly smart and intuitively simple and it has been created with our human needs and capabilities in mind," Samsung Electronics president and head of IT & mobile communications division JK Shin said in his opening presentation.

China tests 500 kmph-speed train .Awesome!!

China has test-run its latest high-speed train that can reach a maximum speed of 500 kmph. The train is built by China's largest rail maker CSR Corp. Ltd., Xinhua reported Monday.Ding Sansan, the company's chief technician, said the train design was inspired by China's ancient sword. The bodywork uses plastic materials reinforced with carbon fiber. It "will provide useful reference for current high-speed railway operations," it quoted train expert Shen Zhiyun as saying. But future Chinese trains will not necessarily run at such high speeds, CSR chairman Zhao Xiaogang told the Beijing Morning News."We aims to ensure the safety of trains operation," he said.China's railway industry has had a tough year, highlighted by a collision between two high-speed trains in July which killed at least 40 people.Construction of new high-speed trains in China has since been a near halt.
In February, the railways minister, Liu Zhijun, a key figure behind the boom in the sector, was dismissed over corruption charges that have not yet been tried in court.

A white Christmas with Samsung

The technology brand has released special white editions of its most popular models to commemorate the season - the Galaxy Note, S II and Ace. Not sure which model would suit? We break it down for you.Be sure to pair this gift with a microSD card as the 153MB of built-in storage won't get you very far, especially when the inner shutterbug is unleashed. This is the easy-to-handle phone to get for that curious older relative who wants to jump onboard the smartphone-wagon but remains unsure if they'll enjoy the ride.It also sports a 5-megapixel autofocus camera which is complemented by an LED flash and a tiny slit for the loud speaker. One of the biggest draws with upgrading to a smartphone is the ability to connect to social networks and share content. If the loved one you're thinking of is new to the smartphone game but keen to start with the Android platform, then consider introducing the Galaxy Ace into the picture. The camera on the Ace is perfect for such purposes and also offers several nifty features such as smile detection and a panorama sweep mode.Running on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, it also has Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0 interface which gives it a slightly different look and feel compared to other Android smartphones.Holding down the home button brings up a window showing all applications running in the background. It also doubles up as a handy task manager for killing unwanted applications to conserve battery life. The customised drag-down notification area also houses handy switches for turning on/off WiFi, Bluetooth, rotation lock and mute settings. This entry-level smartphone is a tidy little package with a glossy front, silver sides, and textured back and a 3.5in touchscreen. If there's any fears or hesitation with the thought of touchscreen typing, the Galaxy Ace boasts an alternate method for text input with Swype. This aptly named feature basically allows users to enter a word by sliding their finger from letter to letter. It may feel weird at first but after a couple of swipes (pun intended), you may be surprised to find that you could potentially type faster than on traditional Qwerty keyboards.
The most pressing question one must answer every holiday season is "what do I buy for the loved ones?" If you have already decided that gadgets are the way to go this Christmas, then why not celebrate it in style with a visit to Samsung's Galaxy?

Motorola wins Apple wireless patent fight in Germany

The Android smartphone maker had complained that Apple failed to license one of its wireless intellectual properties.Apple uses the technology in its iPhones and 3G iPads.Motorola could now try to force Apple to remove the feature from its devices or halt sales in Germany. However, Apple said it intended to appeal.
Motorola said the ruling validated its "efforts to enforce its patents against Apple's infringement".Apple responded: "We're going to appeal the court's ruling right away. Holiday shoppers in Germany should have no problem finding the iPad or iPhone they want."If Motorola does decide to pursue an injunction blocking sales of Apple's products the case could result in a clash between the iPad maker and Google - Motorola's shareholders have approved the search giant's takeover of their company and the deal is due to be completed in 2012.

Astronomers discover 18 new alien planets—and they're huge

Astronomers have found 18 new alien planets, all of them Jupiter-size gas giants that circle stars bigger than our sun, a new study reports. The discoveries increase the number of known planets orbiting massive stars by 50 percent. The exoplanet bounty should also help astronomers better understand how giant planets form and grow in nascent alien solar systems, researchers said. The haul comes just a few months after a different team of researchers announced the discovery of 50 newfound alien worlds, including one rocky planet that could be a good candidate for life. The list of known alien planets is now well over 700 and climbing fast. The researchers surveyed about 300 stars using the Keck Observatory in Hawaii and instruments in Texas and Arizona. They focused on so-called "retired" type-A stars that are at least 1.5 times more massive than our own sun. These stars are just beyond the main stage of life — hence the name "retired" — and are now ballooning out to become what's known as subgiant stars. The team scrutinized these stars, looking for slight wobbles caused by the gravitational tug of orbiting planets. This process revealed 18 new alien worlds, all of them with masses similar to Jupiter's. All 18 planets also orbit relatively far from their stars, at a distance of at least 0.7 times the span from Earth to the sun (about 93 million miles, or 150 million kilometers).
